The very first Moonie piece was sculpted by hand in wax, cast in silver, and became the original form. From that piece, a mold was made - allowing me to cast new pendants that carry the same shape as the first. Each one is still finished by hand, shaped and refined in subtle ways that make every piece similar, but never completely alike.
It’s a way of preserving the raw, organic spirit of the original sculpture, while allowing the design to live on beyond a single piece.
